Kick off the 10th Anniversary weekend with a high-energy, sensory-driven immersion that bridges street-level soul with Grand Cru sophistication. We are demystifying high-end wine culture through the lens of hip-hop—celebrating our shared culinary, musical, and viticultural heritage across the African diaspora.

Our live DJ won't just be playing background music; they are an active co-host for the night, scoring our networking hour and physically pairing custom tracks to match the exact profile of every wine we taste. This is where beats meet the bottle.

6:00 PM – 7:00 PM | Networking Happy Hour: Live-Aroma "Graffiti" Board & Lyric Match

The Vibe: Grab a glass and make your mark while our live DJ spins a curated set of classic Brooklyn boom-bap and global diaspora beats.

The Interaction: Explore aroma jars featuring classic Bordeaux notes (black currant, cedar, rich leather, tobacco, and plum) placed around the room. Head over to our "Brooklyn Subway Wall" graffiti canvas to tag the scents you discover, and match iconic hip-hop lyrics referencing fine wine to the actual profiles pouring in your glass.

7:00 PM – 9:30 PM | Seated "Pass the Aux" Blind Tasting Battle

The Vibe: An interactive wine tasting styled as a live, musical rap battle.

The DJ Live-Pairing: As each course is served, we will pour three exceptional red wines completely blind—representing Bordeaux (France), the USA, and South Africa. For each pour, our DJ will drop a specific track that embodies the wine's character.

The Vote: Is the wine in your glass giving the complex, gritty, old-school storytelling of Nas, the smooth, chart-topping swagger of Jay-Z, or the introspective, modern depth of J. Cole? Listen to the track, taste the wine, and vote on which region wins the battle by holding up your artist voting cards listing the artist, description, and country.

Day Two of Wine Over LA takes the 10th Anniversary celebration on the road. We’re heading north to Santa Barbara wine country, and the journey is just as elevated as the destination. Forget a standard shuttle—think of this as your private, moving lounge.

The celebration starts the moment guest step on board with Bubbles & Breakfast. A comparative Sparkling Wine Flight—it's a bubbly battle between California, South Africa, and France. Pair your wine with a fresh continental breakfast and keep the energy high with "Sip & Spill" Trivia, interactive games, and prizes served right at your seat.

Our first stop is deeply personal. A Return to my Roots, we’re visiting the historic Rideau Vineyards for an exclusive tasting. This is a journey back to heritage and heart—the very place that shaped my love for the vine. Relax enjoy the view and picnic lunch

Our last stop is a Soulful Takeover of the charming town of Solvang. We’re bringing the festive energy pick your path shooping or more wine tasting on your own It’s a full day of chic exploration, exceptional pours, and making memories.

Explore our curated marketplace featuring 5 boutique lifestyle vendors before heading to the main deck to discover 13 premier wine brands—a hand-selected collection from South Africa and leading BIPOC producers.

For a change of pace, head to our open-air top deck. Here, you’ll find our Cigar Lounge and South African Brandy Tasting.
