Payment and Cancellation Policy details:

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $500 USD per person is required at the time of booking to secure your place on this trip. This deposit covers initial administrative fees and secures bookings with our local partners. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received.

Final Payment: The final balance of the trip cost is due 60 days prior to the arrival date. A reminder email will be sent before the due date.

Because we incur costs in cancelling your travel arrangements, the following fee schedule applies. All cancellations must be received in writing via email to zuriwine@gmail.com

Our Cancellation Policy :

If you cancel 91 days or more before arrival: You will receive a refund of all monies paid, minus the $500 non-refundable deposit and a 15% admin fee.

If you cancel 90 days or less before departure: 100% of the trip cost is non-refundable.

No refunds will be given for unused services or for arriving late or leaving the trip early. We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover these possibilities.

Celebrate South African wine culture with Zuri Wine Tasting's famous "Sips with Soul" tour! Sips with Soul is a wine route specifically curated to showcase people of color (POC) in the South Africa wine industry. We visit wine farms who are either owned by POC, have a winemaker, vineyard manager, tasting room manager or executive chef that is a person of color.   Our bonus treat! We are adding the Franschhoek Wine Tram as our vehicle while we hop from farm to farm.

Experience the best of Cape Town with the ultimate comfort and convenience of a private chauffeur for the day. Your journey begins at the harbor, where you will board the ferry to Robben Island for a powerful and historic tour of the prison where Nelson Mandela was held for 18 years. This somber yet inspiring morning offers a deep look into the resilience of the human spirit.

Upon returning to the mainland, you'll head to the V&A Waterfront for a fresh seafood lunch by the sea, soaking in the Atlantic breezes and the vibrant harbor atmosphere. The afternoon continues with a scenic drive through Bo-Kaap, where you will immerse yourself in the unique history and iconic, brightly colored houses of this historic neighborhood.

The day’s exploration concludes at our favorite local tailor. Here, you will select your favorite from three signature designs and have your measurements taken for a custom, African-inspired dress using authentic prints. Your one-of-a-kind garment will be meticulously crafted throughout the week, with the final fitting and pickup scheduled for Friday.

We leave the city behind and head toward the cool-climate breezes of the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley and the hidden gems of Stanford. This is a day dedicated to the "Wine Snob" who appreciates the fine details of terroir, ownership, and the art of the perfect pour.

Our journey begins with an 8:00 AM hotel pickup, setting the stage for a morning of deep discovery. By mid-morning, we arrive at a legendary southern estate for a Masterclass in Excellence. You will enjoy an exclusive tasting with the owner, offering a rare opportunity to "Learn More" about the pioneers of cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Gaining firsthand insight into the passion and precision required to produce these world-class varietals is the ultimate insider experience.

From there, we take a scenic drive to the village of Stanford for a "Sip More, Eat More" experience on the Limestone Coast. Lunch is a gourmet celebration of the region’s unique, limestone-rich terroir, where the complexity of the soil translates directly into the elegance of your glass.

The afternoon takes a relaxing turn as we board a Riverboat Cruise for a moment of pure serenity. This is the ultimate "Soulful" experience—drifting along the water while indulging in a curated selection of wines, artisanal cheeses, and decadent desserts. You will head directly into the vineyards to pick and prune grapes, getting your hands in the vines to learn the vital first steps of the winemaking process. From the sun-drenched rows, you move into the cool of the cellar for an intimate tour to witness how those hand-picked grapes begin their transformation into world-class wine.

The physical work is followed by a well-earned reward: a guided tasting of the region’s signature varietals, including robust Shiraz and crisp Chenin Blanc. Afterward, there is time to breathe in the fresh Winelands air, finish packing, and take a final stroll around the beautiful camp. The morning concludes with a celebratory harvest lunch featuring hearty local fare designed to complement the valley's flavors. As the journey winds down, you leave the tranquility of Paarl behind for the scenic drive back toward the coast, arriving in the Mother City for a relaxing afternoon at your hotel.

Once the final course has been savored, our private driver will whisk you away to Cape Town’s most intimate and celebrated music venue. The night reaches its crescendo at the city’s premier live music lounge. Surrounded by smooth energy and the sounds of world-class jazz performers, you’ll have the perfect atmosphere to raise a glass and toast to an unforgettable journey.
